We're thrilled to announce that our Atlas Modular home, one of our smallest modular designs, is nearing completion and will soon be available for purchase! Nikki, inspired by the serenity of coastal living, envisioned this cozy 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom home as a bright, open, and airy retreat.

For the exterior, Nikki chose a charming board-and-batten design that captures coastal elegance. After extensive Pinterest research and careful mood board creation, she settled on Sherwin Williams' Dutch Tile Blue as the main color, beautifully accented by a Waterloo-colored door. These stunning blue hues perfectly complement the crisp white windows and mill-finish roof, creating an inviting seaside aesthetic.
Inside, Nikki kept things simple yet sophisticated, painting the interior walls in Dover White by Sherwin Williams to maximize natural light and maintain the airy feel. The cabinetry, featuring white oak with slab fronts crafted by our talented friends at 321 Cabinets, highlights Nikki's current love for the timeless appeal of white oak. The ceilings will feature a pop of character with white washed white pine.
Quartz countertops continue to be a favorite for their beauty and durability, and after featuring Rio Upano quartz in another recent project, Nikki knew instantly it was the ideal choice to complement the coastal vibe of the Atlas. Stainless steel finishes and hardware throughout the home add a modern touch while maintaining the overall clean and classic coastal aesthetic.
At Movable Roots, we always encourage our clients to use mood boards to visualize how each element of their custom home comes together. Be sure to explore Nikki's mood boards for this project and stay tuned for finished photos of this stunning Atlas Modular home!
Could you envision this home on your property?
I love the minimalistic design with white making the space feel larger and more airy, while some wooden accents add a beachy appeal. Happy Wheels
